Liverpool Central School District is a public school district northwest of Syracuse on the eastern shore of Onondaga Lake. It serves a large portion of the Town of Salina, which includes the Village of Liverpool, as well as a portion of the Towns of Clay.
Liverpool is the home to Onondaga Lake Park, which is a 7.5 linear greenway featuring 4 trails, picnic areas, a skatepark, a dog park, extensive playground, as well as a visitor center with courts for shuffleboard, bocce, and volleyball along with equipment rental. The park is also home to The Salt Museum, built on the site of an original boiling block.
Liverpool is conveniently located minutes from Destiny USA, one of the largest malls in the country, and has direct access to the New York State Thruway. Liverpool Village, Rt 57 and Rt 31 all boast multiple options for dining, retail, and entertainment.
